Praying for Christian Revival

Please pray that the Holy Spirit will be poured out on this Nation and that people will come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Please consider networking with your Christian contacts across the world so that many may be blessed by 'Christian Broadcast' radio station as to prayer and revival.

Pray that there will be a 'revival' in your Region and the Nation. This Nation has seen Christian Revivals in the past and this is why the 'Journey of the Christian Faith' commenced in the Isle of Lewis, Scotland, where a Christian Revival took place in 1949, led by Duncan Campbell. Revivals normally take place in one region and then spread to other regions.

The Holy Spirit moves wherever He pleases and responds to people humbling themselves before Jesus Christ and crying out for mercy and forgiveness.

2 Chronicles 7:14 'If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land’.

Joel 2:24 'I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on your servants, both men and women, I will pour out My Spirit in those days’.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no-one can enter the Kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at My saying, 'You must be born again'. The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot hear where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

There are quite a few accounts of revivals in the UK: John Wesley and friends in the 1700’s, Hugh Bourne Stoke 1807, Cornish William Haslam 1850, Belfast 1859, Dwight L Moody 1860’s, William & Bramwell Booth (Salvation Army) Whitechapel London 1878, Welsh 1904, Smith Wigglesworth 1920’s, East Scotland 1921, Lewis 1949 and so forth.

Christian revival takes place when those in the 'Body of Christ' cry out to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit then moves in a sovereign way within the believers, bringing conviction of sin and repentance. The believer then comes into a deeper relationship to Jesus Christ, receiving His holiness and purity within our lives. As a result, of this movement of revival, there is often an awakening among the un-believer, leading people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is deity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

May we all be encouraged to open up our homes, church buildings every day & evening to pray for revival.

Colin & Madeleine Windsor would be pleased to come along to your UK Church/Fellowship to share & encourage as to praying for Christian Revival. Contact us at office@jcministries.org.uk
